Geriatrician needed to do Wound Care in Lakeland. Physician must be Florida licensed, currently living in Florida and board certified. 100% Wound Care. Training provided. Employed position. Mon-Fri. No call, no weekends. Full benefits (health, life, disability and 401K with matching), gas and cell phone allowance, etc. $140K base plus incentives goes up to $150K upon passing national wound care exam. With incentives, second year expectation $180K-$200K plus range. Schedule is a 50 hour work week. 6 am to 4 pm. 100% nursing home work. Rounding at various facilities per day. In FL they drive about a 40 mile radius per day. You have to be comfortable with a lot of driving. You will be seeing diabetic, pressure, ulcer wounds, doing debridement, etc. The client does not pay the interview expenses. No call schedule. No weekend work, no evenings. You handle everything related to the wound care on the patients.
