Job Description

Childrens Hospital near Milwaukee, Wisconsin seeks an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle. Successful candidate will drive hospitals and physician revenue cycle process improvement initiatives to maximize revenue and cash flow. Directs and oversees hospital, surgicenter and physician billing revenue cycle operations to include financial counseling, claims submission, claim follow-up, payment posting, credit balances, coding compliance and audit, charge master maintenance and managed care contracting. Designs and maintains processes and systems used to set charges, negotiate with third-party payers, bill patients and insurers, file cost reports and claims, and pursue denied claims and delinquent accounts. Ensures that all accounts contain comprehensive and accurate data to provide for timely billing. Ensures optimal reimbursement, for services, and tracking/reporting of key performance indicators. Complies with all state and federal regulations and policies/procedures relating to the acquisition of information. Participates in development and implementing a managed care contracting strategy. Maintains relationships with third party payers. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Director of Revenue Cycle with broad experience/understanding of the total health system.
