Work Experience
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and pass the State Licensing written and practicum exams and become a Licensed Hearing Aid Professional; or be an Audiologist. Must have a minimum of six months of running and managing all aspects of an office operation.

Job Description

Exciting opportunity -- California licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist needed for King Hearing Aid Center, in Palm Desert, California. King Hearing Aid Centers are a division of GN Hearing Care/GN Resound, an international corporation. The professional sales Specialist will manage the patient process to include testing and fitting prospective hearing impaired individuals and manage the assigned office. Conduct a complete hearing evaluation on prospective customers for potential hearing loss. Complete hearing evaluations must include air and bone conduction, SRT, MCL, UCL, and word recognition on right, left, and both. Fit prospective clients with the companys hearing aids. Make recommendations to clients as to the make and model of the products based on hearing loss and patient needs following fitting protocols. Provide appropriate follow up care for all patients including check up schedule and LACE/AWARE procedures. Manage assigned office, including supervision of Patient Coordinator PC and the ability to perform all PC job duties. Maintain a clean, clutter free and error free work environment. Ensure professional attire for the office and personnel. Achieve financial success of the office by ensuring all accounting and internal control procedures are executed. Track and provide feedback on all referrals from marketing initiatives. Follow and ensure that employees follow all corporate policies, procedures and pricing programs. The base salary is $40,000, with a commission plan having no cap, that should earn the professional sales Specialist an additional $30,000-40,000 at a minimum. Higher commission set up for exceeding minimum annual sales plan. Base salary also is higher for someone with an Audiology MS or AuD. There is a full benefits plan and a relocation plan.
