Job Description

Emergency Medicine job is available close to Oklahoma City, OK. The Level III trauma designated ED is seeking additional coverage starting August 2010 ongoing full or part time. The 36 hours of physician coverage daily with 12 hours of MLP coverage daily in the fast track provide adequate coverage for this 36,000 volume center. The main ED has 16 private rooms with additional 4 rooms Fast Track. The in-house Hospitalist program handles in-house codes during the day. Along with this well-established program an experienced nursing staff with excellent clinical support and superior ancillary back-up is on-site as well. Furthermore, a dedicated charge and triage nurses with a 4x1 room to nurse ratio along with a float is on-site. You will not be responsible for major surgical procedures during this assignment.
